In-Line Inspection

In-line inspection for liquid and gas pipelines

PIPECARE in-line inspection (ILI) tools detect and size metal loss, cracks, geometric deformation, and lamination in operating pipelines. The fleet covers diameters from 4″ to 56″ and includes axial MFL, transverse-field MFL, ultrasonic wall measurement, ultrasonic crack detection, EMAT, caliper, and multi-sensor configurations.

PIPECARE in-line inspection technology

Identifying what threatens your pipeline

Inspection programs are scoped to the threats present in the line, the operating conditions, and the integrity decisions required. Tool selection, run feasibility, cleaning sequence, and reporting deliverables are defined during a pre-inspection engineering review.

All inspection runs are performed by PIPECARE field crews using PIPECARE tools. Data analysis, fitness-for-service assessment, and integrity reporting are produced by the same operating group.
Corrosion
General internal/external corrosion, pitting, and erosion in ferrous and non-ferrous pipelines.
Cracking
Axial and circumferential cracks, SCC colonies, fatigue cracks, and weld-zone defects.
Wall Losson
Mid-wall metal loss, lamination, hydrogen-induced cracking, and wall thinning.
Deformation
Dents, ovality, bore restrictions, bends, buckles, and dent-with-metal-loss interaction features.

From planning to reporting - every step in-house

Every inspection follows a structured workflow from initial planning through to final reporting ensuring accuracy, safety, and full traceability at every stage
Decision tool

Match your pipeline threats to the right technology

Our Threat Matrix maps every common anomaly — corrosion, cracks, geometry, deposits — to the technologies that detect, size, and assess them. Use it to identify the right inspection method for the threats in your line.

Advanced tools for every pipeline environment

PIPECARE manufactures and deploys a complete in-house technology portfolio. The right tool is selected based on the pipeline service, threat profile, and required integrity decisions.

The advantage of in-house capability

PIPECARE combines engineering, inspection, and data analysis under one roof. By designing and manufacturing our own inspection tools, we maintain complete control over quality, precision, and reliability. This integrated approach ensures every inspection is efficient, transparent, and traceable from start to finish.
